I go to UCI, yes. I'm a 4th year. I tried going to the anime club thingy on campus last year, but all they did was show viewings of anime that I've already seen or could download on my own if wanted to. I didn't find it very condusive to making friends though, so I stopped going.

I totally agree the rain sucks. I was walking around ring road and I got soaking wet.

Oh, yea, I saw your fandom and it looked interesting. That's actually how I found you. I noticed alot of our interests are the same. That's pretty cool to know someone goes to UCI like that.

I found you through a keyword search. Then I found your fandom through you and read it a few times before I joined LJ. You seem pretty interesting from your profile. We seem to have a lot of things in common.
I don't have facebook, because that's just another thing I would have to update. Once I get used to updating my LJ then I'll get it.

Look, you seem nice enough, and I understand wanting to use something like Livejournal as a way to meet people with similar interests. I love meeting people who want to talk about anime or manga or films or books or politics. But frankly I'm not sure you even go to UCI. You haven't mentioned anything about the school that couldn't be found out from reading the school website. If you had facebook that uses a campus email, I'd look at that and agree that you're most likely who you say you are. Or if you had some other method. But as of right now... no. There's too many insane people out there and it's not worth it.

If you really look like your picture and really are a poli sci major, maybe I'll see you in class.

Hey sorry I didn't respond sooner, Week 1 worked out to be harder than I thought and cox cable connection has been crapping out on me lately, they are coming tomorrow morning to fix it. This quarter sucks I have an 8 am computer lab in MSTB (i have to hike through the park and it never ends) on Monday mornings! But otherwise it is all good.
I totally understand about meeting people online, but I know I should join Facebook, I bet I will have more friends on it than on livejournal, most of my friends aren't on lj. I am usually at Cornerstone Cafe on mondays after 2 studying so stop by and we can chat.
