I went by CW, as I usually do. I really *really* should update the vid search & request thread there--it's got nearly 30+ replies that I'm going to have to sort through and edit, now. Ugh. The pains or procrastication.

Watched Alias last night. I believe it was the...hm... *third* time, I think that I've seen that show. I love it. Specifically, I love Michael Vartan. I've had this massive crush on him since I saw 'Never Been Kissed'. I would so have been the student in love with that teacher. What a complete hottie.

Anyway, I liked Alias. Again. And it seems that we don't have any other shows on Sunday nights at 9, (as I'll never get my mom to sit through Angel), so Alias is gonna be my new thing for that night.

I particularly liked the episode this time-- Sid and Vaughn go on thier first date, and they're about to skip the "getting to know you" parts and go strait to the "making love like we have two years of UST to make up for" part when they got attacked.

Damn those psuedo-government-agency thugs! They're like the Harbringers on Buffy, or the stupid bee in XF. Bad. Bad. Timing!

It was fun last night, wasn't it? I really want them to get down to snogging and shagging, so that the thwarting can begin, and torment. I loved Jack and Irina, too. Very cool.

I know. There's going to be LOTS of angst there. And weren't they just adorable, staring at each other across the table, all doe-eyed with luv? No way they can deny attraction now. The scene where he asked her out, and she was all flustered and unconvinced-- too cute.

But I thinkthe show works best if they never really get to have a proper relationship. The tension/suspense is just fantastic, and if they actually got together...I think that might damage the show a bit!

Viva Alias!

Yes, everything is better with UST. But they better not pull an X Files and have EIGHT YEARS of UST. Though Vaughn does kind of remind me of Scully, personality-wise...

Aaah, but 8 years of USt didn't ruin the X Files for me...the fact that it stopped being good after the 3rd series ruined X Files for me! Mt Carter evidently has a very poor grasp of his own mythology, so how was an audience supposed to deal with it? Never mind..

Besides, The Avengers pretty much survived 8 series of UST! USt is the way forward, Moonighting (remeber that) got very bad very quickly the very moment the UST gave wat to Romantic involvement..

Vaugh is a bit of a Scully (I can't really comment too much on Scully... see above!). Which is quite nice really, considering what he is up against!

Hm... I watched XF faithfully through year six, and a great deal of year seven. Then I had to quit out. I've never seen Avengers, or Moonlighting, though I do know what they're about.

Please just do me one small favour.

When ever you think about the Avengers, PLEASE do not remeber the film!

Itwas so bad I was physically hurt that someone could have doen that to a program I loved!

Never saw the movie. Not a big Uma Thurman fan.
