timepiececlockI was enjoying this fic, which in its latest chapter introduced a minor sub-sub plot involving an older, post-evil Sasuke having a puppy to keep as a pet. Sakura gave it to him to help open up emotionally and grow as a person.
What a brilliant idea!
Too bad the leaders of the Leaf village didn't think of that when Sasuke was a young, angry, orphaned Vader In Training. Maybe that's why Uchiha was such a dickwad: he never had a pet! Having something soft and round-eyed and slobbery to look after could have kept him from going evil on everyone's ass.
Mmmm...hindsight.
