I'm sorry to bother you at your private journal with this. I'd take it to the katara_zuko community but my problem kinda prevents me from doing so.

Earlier today I wrote an implied Zutara drabble from Mai's POV and posted it to the community (without saving the story to my journal or somewhere else but that's not your problem), but when I hit send, LJ told me that my post was being "queued"(?) and that it would appear soon. I figured there might have been a lot of traffic at LJ at that moment, but when I posted to my own journal I didn't have any trouble at all. I thought my story was lost and dealt with it accordingly (internal whining, hehe) and whipped up a selff-pimpage post for a different story, but then LJ told me that I had exeeded my maximum of posts with this user ID and could not post to the community.

Now I'm confused... did I do something to get a ban or something similar? Or is there like... a limit to posts to the comm? oO;;

I posted the latest chapter of Experiment and it told me they were screening things--something to do with the whole problem-with-spoilers-for-the-finale thing. So...that's what's with the queue, I think. (Of course, the chapter isn't up yet...*comment whore growls*).

So, uh, that's what I know on that subject. :-)

That was my exact reaction to reading Descartes. "Well, how exactly did you come to this conclusion? I want step-by-step thought process!"

...actually, that was my reaction to the entire first half of philosophy. o_O

Because of the season finale week and spoiler stuff, all posts to the comm are being queued. I'm not certain how long this will last, but probably only a week or so at the maximum. What it means is that the mods can give approval or rejection of incoming posts; we can't edit them though, only approve. If someone wants to make a really spoilery post, it will be rejected and given the reasons why so that it can be resubmitted.

Many communities screen all posts beyond mods, especially media-trading comms.

The downside is that the posts have to wait until the mod is at the computer to look at them, so you'll see a few hours delay and then usually a large burst of posts. It also happens that you can't have two posts queued at the same time-- you have to wait until your first one is approved.
