THey had snow all January so there's piles of it... but it's been melting for a week, so the road's aren't too bad. We didn't have to drive on ice on the freeways, only on city streets. It's dirty snow by now, very muddy and icy.
AND COLD.
Though, it helps that I just discovered the 'on' switch for my room heater. No wonder it's so friggin cold.
I hooked up my internet and just spent a good hour reading Avatar fic. I'm quite enjoying "Push & Pull" and of course this which is basically my ideal season 3. With a dragon.
Ha. We get lake effect off Lake Michigan where I live, and it just decided to dump a foot of snow on us. This is possibly the most snow I've seen since I was seven. Dirty snow is icky.
Ohhhh Dever yay! I do love Dever, although its a bit cold for me in January. Oh but its sooo beautiful!
You skiied yet? Because if your out there you really must (if you get free time, considering how busy you'll probably be. but seriously, top priority, ahhh the adrenaline rush. and before the college crowds and spring break families get there and everything starts getting icy.)
