this is almost completely off-topic but in the Star Wars expanded universe, one of the books had a tiny plot-point revolving around the fact that Obi-Wan Kenobi was an awesome magical storyteller and I've always kept that as a tiny piece of canon and loved it because awesome magical storytellers usually only exist to tell the important metaphor story in books and then they disappear again anyway I'll just crawl back under my rock now. :-b
