I got this profound disturbing urge tonight to watch a Mulder character fan vid to "Desperado" by The Eagles.

Instead I ended up scouring the net and downloading at least 15 MSR music videos. That I am now obligated to actually WATCH later, in the daylight hours.

Why? Because I'm mad. Simply mad. Bug-shaggin crazy, and download-happy to boot.

And dammit, the one to SMcL's 'Possession' wouldn't download! Fuck.

My favorite XF vid is on to Greenday's Time of your life (I know the song has a different title, but it's 8:30 a.m. and I can't think of it). It's awesome :)

Ooooh re: "Possession". Original version, piano version, or Rabbit in the Moon Remix? (I've always thought it would be *awesome* to do a Spike/Buffy video incorporating all three of those versions.)

Someday I'm going to make a CD of The Absolute Best Beautiful-Songs-That-Are-Even-More-Beautiful-When-You-Realize-How-Creepy-They-Are, and "Possession" and The Police's "Every Breath You Take" will lead the list. ^_^

I've only heard the original version, but I think it's such a wonderful song. Very Spuffy.

oh, cool! Post it when you do. I would add 'The Messenger' by The Tea Party and 'Scarborough Fair' by Simon and Garfunkel to that list.

hm... I didn't see that one. Where was it? And do you know of any large XF vid archives?

Check the Hotmail e-mail address listed on your LJ. ;)

Yep yep to Simon & Garfunkel. I'd also make two "Buffy" Spike/Buffy songlists--one for When Kawy Is In A Good Spike/Buffy Mood and one for When Kawy Is NOT In A Good Spike/Buffy Mood. (Garbage's "Drive You Home" for the first and Nick Cave's "Loverman" for the second, for instance. And whod'a thunk Garbage would do a HAPPY song?)

I do not know of any XF vid databases. In fact, looking for the link to the Greenday video, I found out that all of my XF bookmarks don't work anymore - all sites ceased to exist.

I'll look for the video on my CDs and I'll upload to my website. Do you want me to e-mail you the link once I do that?
