Nah, I haven't been accidentally spoiled on LJ recently. Earlier in the year though there's been times where someone would post about how "Spoilers are really getting them down" or how "Spoilers about Spike have them in a cloud of shipper bliss"... things like that. I just wanted to put something up to request that people be extra-sensitive for these final episodes of the show. Last time I was accidentally spoiled for the soul in Africa, and its made me very bitter-- because what a surprise that could have been, if I hadn't had guessed/known? Luckily I was unspoiled for Giles' return, so at least I had that.

But again, I admire you SO MUCH for staying spoiler free. I am going to try for the final ep, but I'm not promising anything. ;)

I've just foudn that the entire aspect of fandom that deals with spoilers leaves a bad taste in my mouth when I later watch the show. People's interpretation of spoilers and their pre-analyses... they really ruin the experience of watching the show. Also, because I've only gotten into spoilers a few times, I'm not really that knowledgable about them, and prefer to stay that way. Easier to avoid temptation if you don't know where to get your next fix.

There's one casting spoiler I've had for a while now because it was rumored from the beginning of the season, and it was confirmed on tonight's Angel, which I download most of early from wisteria. For some reason, it doesn't bother me to read AtS spoilers. Probably because I'm not that invested in the show, even thoguh I enjoy it.
