I am glad Micheal mooore won too. Its a very good documentary/movie, and now seems to be the right time to ask the questions he asked. I didn't see the cermony, but thousands of other actors etc sprout politics or over wrought sentiment (I remeber Hilary Swank's acceptance speech...dear God!)so I don't see why he shouldn't.
Not a big Roman Polanski fan are you? I shouldn't be surpirced by tasteless awards from the Academy though...
