Well, my room is all painted! YAY! And we pulled up the carpet! YAY! ::waits for applause:: It was long, hard hard work, but it's all finally done. And we've put the piano, the dresser, the file cabinet, and the desk back into place. The book case is kind of in the middle of the room, because I can't put it back until I get the desk all fixed in place and the electronics hooked up.

I still have all my earthly possessions packed in boxes and piles in the living room, but I can start to put it away at least some of it tomorrow. An my curtains have to go back up, that won't be too hard.

Wow. I have hardwood floor. I am deeply shocked. But it goes nicely wiht the 2 medium blue walls and the 2 very light blue walls.

School starts tomorrow. Mixed dread/excitement.

...

Drat. A wood floor means I'll have cold feet in the morning.

Thanks, it is! The shade of medium blue is ablout the color of the livejournal sidebar, but more of a true blue with less of the gray tone. The light blue is the same hue, but several shades lighter until it's almost white.
