After a long running argument in my theology class, it was deemed exceptable to use the Male address for any god not displaying primaryily female characteristics, providing it was realised that gods in the monothestic sense are not male or female.
I like to refer to the Christian God as a she just because it keeps people on edge, and in fact several Early christians used to do the same.

I don't think not existed should get in the way of having angels, prophets etc. IF the the surpreme being of athesim wants 'em I say let him have them! Even if it dosn't exist...
Well I am glad you don't have any grumpy teahers, but I would beware the women studies one. The misgony of day to day life gets to them eventually!
