(Damn LJ short-response limit) ..Because Buffy's been so, so cruel to him while demanding so much, and giving nothing in return, only demanding more.
But I'm wandering of track again. Damn that mental train of mind. Gets de-railed far too often...
Have you ever written an epic? A long story? And wow, what would happen if you did?
No... not yet. I've started several. I have nearly 300 unfinished stories or story outlines saved on my computer (even in cyber world I still never throw anything away -_-;; ). Not all of those are Buffy, of course.
I wrote the first three chapters of an interesting InuYasha fic, but it died off for the same reason all my fics die off or are resolved in one shot... lack of a goal. I always have these great ideas for set-ups, for beginnings (or occaisionally endings), or for single scenes, but never for entire storylines. So I settle for single scenes, usually.
I would like to do a long or epic story, though. And I think I could do it well, writing-wise, if I could just come up with enough ideas to go somewhere with it.
I have this one partial outline for an AU Buffyfic that I think could really be promising. Want me to email it to you to check it out? If you could give me ideas for plot stuff, help me out in over-all direction the story could take (my weak point--I'm good with small increments and scenes), and bug me about it, I'd try writing it.
