Ok, liked Firefly MUCH more the second time around.
For a bit I wondered where the episode was going, and if ti would take an Aline-esque jump-from-the-survivor's-chest twist, but thankfully it pun off in a whole different route. Canabalism. Space pirate canabalism.
Eew.
But this one was much less boring, and seemed to show a lot more into the Doctor and River's characters. Though I still wish they'd give the pilot a bit more lines, cause he's amusing. Still, better this time. Especially nice showing the various reactions to the idea of 'reavers', and then the interrogations.
Also--- I want, need, and very mush desire Inara's wardrobe. Cause, WOW.
