I stayed up an extra 2 hours longer than I should have to finish this:
http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=1049729
It's the fist chapter of 'The Black Behind The Moon', a crossover fanfic I'm starting. It's Sailor Moon and BtVS. And it will have Spuffy. Why? Because I'm an insane person who should be sleeping.
And, also, cause there are practically NO B/S-friendly crossovers out there.
Yeah, its short I know-- the next one will be longer. But I just wanted to start to put it out and up tonight. And really, not my most brilliant. But I can't write All Angst, All the Time, so you guys will just have to see how you feel about my none-romantic!angst dialogue and attempt at a progressive plot.
The first chapter isn't focused on the BtVS characters, its on Usagi and Mamoru (later to be named Serena and Darien)... but you shouldn't skip it. Because It Matters. It's literary framing, and its mildly amusing too. And if you don't know anything about Sailor Moon...it'll be explained as the story goes. IF not-- IT'S A MYSTERY!
I'll post it on CW tomorrow.
In all fairness, I think this is subconsciously my experiment to see if I really can write another complicated romantic couple right now, set them down in Sunnydale, and NOT turn them into carbon-copies of Buffy & Spike.
It's a hard habbit to break... I already caught myself doing it.
