I fold. Into temptation do I go. the
review_you thing. Blast that
kimberly_nlts, giving me ideas and tainting my thoughts! :hee:
At first I was put off by the concept as a whole, but now I have this perverse desire to know how they'd rate my LJ. Of course, the changes of me changing anything about my LJ as a result is a thought so horrid it would be propmtly taken out with a shot gun before it comes within a hunred miles of the vicinity of my thought process... but still, the curiosity is there now.
Of course, if there's anything interesting about their review I intend to talk/giggle/rant about it here immediately after. Maybe I'll cut it out for the rest of you nice people and the pity sake of your eyeballs. If the review says nothing new or nothing that interests me, don't expect to hear about it at all.
Well, maybe. A little. I like to talk so I probably WILL bring it up anyway.
other stuff:
Put up my original LJ-icon, because its still a cool pic, and I missed my Ranma-honey. I miss anime. I miss having money to buy anime.
I mgiht be working at West Marine soon. I didn't get hired at Miller's Outpost (damn) and probably won't be at Tower Records (shrug) and might be at Barnes & Noble, but the West Marine idea is starting to grow on me. They pay very well, and I know more about boat stuff than most people my age, on acount of my family having a McGregor 26 since I was four. And since my dad spent thousands of dollars at West Marine buying equipment this last year, he now knows the manager on a friendly first-name basis ...and since I've also grown up around all of the boat people in northern california... well, I do have hella contacts. And I can tell you the difference between a sheet and a halyard, so... they'll probably hire me.
I'm too uncool to work at Hot Topic anyway. Just not scary enough, evne if I do have unusually high amounts of gothic jewelry from middle school & my dragon/shiny-things obssession. Though, the money I get from West Marine would go nicely to the skater pants I'm always admiring in Hot Topic but cna never afford. Skater pants are all the more desirable to me now, since I've effectivley stopped buying jeans. Hate hate HATE bell-bottoms and hip-huggers. I miss wide-leg jeans somthing fierce.
