Dec. 4th, 2002 10:21 pmI got this fun quiz from
twinkledru. It's one of my favorite quizzes in a while.( which enemy of the christian church are you? )
Hm... reminds me of this conversation I once had with a very sweet but devout Morman (he was mostly teasing, as he knws how I feel):
Guy: So, Sara, how is your relationship with God lately?
Me: I don't have relationship with God. Yours, or anyone elses.
Guy: Aww.. why not?
Me: Because I don't want one. And as I haven't gotten any divine snow of redemption yet, I don't think God paticularly wants one with me either. We sort of like to pretend each other don't exist.
Guy: And you're happy with this?
Me: Works wonderfully. My non-existent relationship with a non-existent god succeeds nicely in keeping the religiosity away.
((yep, I quoted Firefly for that encounter. And buffy. It was too good to pass up. I don't think he got it though. :pout:))
This quiz was linked on that same page... I couldn't resist, dragon girl that I am.
----
I took the Inner Dragon online quiz and found out I am a White Dragon on the inside. If there ever was an apparition of balance, power and reclusive intelligence, my Inner Dragon is it. Whites are a fairly common dragon and are considered one of two harmonious dragons. My antithesis is the evil Black Dragon.
My Inner Dragon likes to think things out, plot against enemies, and look down upon the world from the highest mountain peaks. My favorable attributes are the Day, the Sun, truth, a positive attitude, and helpful magic. Humans only need fear me when they stray into my domain without proper tribute. Of course, that tribute would probably be a cake the size of a Volkswagen, but hey, if they wanted to move through my turf they should have brought it, right? If someone ever really wanted a fight I'd be an impressive opponent, considering I pack a breath weapon combination of Fire and Lightning, but most know better than to try.

Dec. 4th, 2002 10:58 pmThanks
octipedingenue for this quiz.
( Which Dysfunctional Care Bare Are You?> <a href= )
My brother asks me why I was entranced by Se7en but hated Frailty. Maybe that answer has something to do with it. Se7en was a pretty nihilistic film.

mindnumbingly beautiful
Dec. 4th, 2002 11:17 pmYou see... I have this love/hate relationship with Dale Chihuly.
I love him, but he must hate me because he hasn't answered my letters begging for him to send me his pieces free of charge. Some stupid insistance on money, and how his glass costs thousands of dollars. Really, what happened to art for the beauty of it?
Not that I wouldn't pay for it, of course. If I had thousands of dollars.
Just go to www.chihuly.com, and get sucked into it.

That's not all, either!
( see more... all way too pretty! )
