I wrote this short, moody, Buffy stream of consciousness fic.

I need a name. I'm thinking something to do with marks, or possession, or price. I dunno. Any ideas are welcome.

Takes place sometime after BotN, assumed immediately after Spike is rescued/returned/found/escapes/whatever. Assuming that he is eventually.

Also, I couldn't decide whether to put the italic thoughts as separate paragraph fragments or just jam them in between the sentences. For this I chose separate fragments. You'll see what I mean; think of that too.

Thanks. Any other comments are welcome as well. But I REALLY need a title.

hee! I've got my classes for the winter quarter all rergistered up. :D

I'm taking:

English Lit: Intro to Shakespeare
Psychology 1: General Psychology
English Writing: Critical Reading, Writing, & Thinking
Political Science: American Government & Politics

And the best news? No nasty hanging around school for 4 hours uselessly every day. I get in at 9:30am and get out at 2:10pm. And no math classes. :) Whee!! This is going to be fun.

Also, finally found out my grades from last quarter. I got 2 Bs and a Pass, so my GPA is at a flat 3.0. I'll need to bring that up. But still, good!

Got into this from [livejournal.com profile] kimberly_a who put it up for [livejournal.com profile] slipjig's LJ poll here.

Most of these are recent (within 20 years), because while I've seen a lot of old movies (especially musicals), I tended to like these better.

My top 10 favorite movies ever
(in no particular order)
- Fight Club
- Moulin Rouge
- The Shawshank Redemption
- Spirited Away
- Dead Poet's Society

This is my background now. [livejournal.com profile] vrya made it. Isn't it hot?! I can't wait till we find out what the cute but morally ambiguous man does in the next episodes!

So, I've had chapped lips lately, and today when I went outside, I ended up licking them a lot, because stupid me hasn't bought any Blistex. Now, this wouldn't be a problem, except I have this unfortunate habit of staring. At people. Frequently. I've been told its weird and annoying.

What this comes down to is that I spent a lot of time today looking around, staring at people and licking my lips. It occurs to me that several San Jose or Cupertino residents probably now think I'm a total perv.

So which fairy tale archetype are you? Hmm??

review_you

So, yesterday my journal was reviewed here. The point results were "61/100 points, but not as bad as you'd think."

 Ok then. So according to the point score sheet I fall within "So So".

As far as the review goes, it's neither good nor bad. I got the sense the reviewer couldn't seem to make up his/her mind about me.

And I found that pleasing. Because no sooner did I sign up for the review_you than I forgot about it a few days later. And a journal written for me doesn't require that anyone else like it, or have any strong opinions about it.

I wondered if I'd be upset or happy when I eventually got my LJ reviewed. Now, I'm finding myself mostly indifferent, with slight whimsical desire to argue, but on the whole-- in a good mood, because reading their review left me with no desire to change my journal in any way.

I'm glad I did the review thing though. Not for what it did or didn't point out about my journal, but because the result moves me to nothing. Which doesn't say anything about them, but says somethng to me about myself.

Edited to add:

One thing has stuck in my mind, though. The reviewer said I had a "an amusing and sometimes dark" sense of humor, but that I didn't use it often enough.

I amuse myself all the time with my own journal. I suppose this means not everyone finds funny what I find funny. Which ought to be an obvious fact in and of itself about anyone, and does not particularly surpirse me at all, but still it makes me think. It makes me wonder what kind of things the reviewer finds funny, and if I had had another reviewer, if he or she would have found me hilarious or unspeakably dull and flat.

People are weird in the ways that they differ.
