AhHA!

Ok, so I've been really considering friending a whole host of the Sunnydale LJ characters. I mean, they're all kind of interesting and fun. I like Willy the Snitch's journal, and Oz, and The First Evil, and Joan the Vamprie Slayer.

But really, that's way too many people to clutter my friends' list. But I found the better way: I just friended hellmouth_news instead. They give updates of all of it in one convenient post.

Much, much more efficient.

a funny & a fantasy

For a while now, I've head this fantasy. I know most fantasies either (1) take place as a child, or (2) take place as a "grown up." This fantasy is actually set for when I'm a wicked old lady.

See, I plan on making a great deal of money by a certain age. And then I'm going to buy a house. A big, dusty, old house. If I'm really rich, I'll have it built.

The purpose of this house will be simple. It will provide a place for grandchildren and friend-kiddies to run around like mad, get lost in closets and coridoors and hidden hallways. It will have a psychotically complex layout, which I will be the only one to really understand (and possibly Most Favorite Granchild, if I think it's bright enough and worthy enough.)

I will have lots of cats. Or, possibly just lots of dogs. Either way, there will be way too many furry pets living in this house. I will fill the rooms with books and art and hundreds of random yet fascinating items I'd have collected over life.

I plan to be the coolest, scariest, most wonderful grandmother, and to have a splendid time driving my children absolutely insane. I'm going to be that crazy old bat in the crazy old house who never throws anything away and knows more about alien conscpiracies and past lives and card games than anyone else in the family combined. I'm going to be painfully tolerated, but since it will be MY house everyone will be afraid of me enough that they'll be sure to be cheerful and exra-pleasant about it.

That's my fantasy.
