1. [livejournal.com profile] ginmar, I got your CD in the mail! I'm finally listening to it right now. What's the song list?

2.
Made 15 dollars babysitting my 2nd cousins (1.3 & 4.99 in age) tonight. The little one would not stop screaming at the door as soon as my cousins left. The older one was happy to just wrestle with me, color, or play the games on the Rollie Polie Olie website. She eventually came up with the idea of us all going around the block in the little red wagon to get Mr. CryBaby to calm down. That was nice enough, they weren't that heavy to pull along.

3.
So one night last week I was bored, and lacking DSL at the time, I started drawing. Specifically, I was drawing Harry Potter characters in anime-style. However, the only one that turned out any good after I colored and scanned it was the Luna Lovegood one. The Harry one was almost decent, but I simply could not get the hand right.

Anyway, here's the Luna one, shrunk down in size a bit. I used these fantabulous 3-dollar-a-piece markers for the skin and hair tones. I only have about 6 of those fantabulous markers, by the way. Anyone who wants to spend 200 dollars to buy me the whole 70-something set is welcome to it.

Fan art. Spent a lot of time rereading the description of Luna in the book, and also looking at one of the pics. They're very small pictures in the book. )

oohh... Like Number 2 on this CD.

oooooh! Song number 9 is "Insensitive" by Jann Arden. Love this song. It's so bitter and catchy and weepy at the same time.

Here's a link to my favorite HP fan artist.

By a totally different person, this picture cracked me up.

I found a little future-Hermione/Draco fanfic that was good for serious giggles. It's a bit of a parody, and is quite cute.

Lyrics of a band I'm going to see in a free concert at Plaza de Cesar Chavez on Thursday (Eve 6 is also playing!)... probably by myself, but that's how it goes. Unless maybe [livejournal.com profile] lin_lin_lucy wants to go?

Foldering

As I slowly reinstall all my processes into my computer, I've been doing what I like to refer to as "foldering." Bascially, foldering is when I go through all my files and I organize them into folders of almost the smallest category. No lumpy groups of mismatched program files all in one long list I have to scroll through on my start menu... everything is made clean, and neat. And as I install new software, I set up new folders categorized within the start menu each time, so I don't have clutter. This actually takes a horrendous amount of time. I haven't even started on my website bookmarks yet... that will take a few hours to sort through. Especially the anime sites, which tend to go cross-category. Buffy too.

If I have a BtVS website that has fanfiction, fan vids, and screencaps, do I sort it into the video folder, the fanfiction folder, or the general btvs folder? How do I label it in the future so that I know it has any number of those things?

I'd really like to find a way to get my hands on an MP3 for the song "Shatterday" by Vendetta Red. But I'm reluctant to keep using KazaaLite and definitely not WinMX. Does anyone know what programs are being set upon by record companies, and what programs are not on the list?

I just watched the trailer for Braveheart on my DVD, cause I wanted that quote. Man, that music is killer heartbreaking. I've wanted that soundtrack for 8 years. I should just go get it one day.

Would anyone be able to tell me help me make this gif picture into an icon? I found it while searching for a still image, and I love it, but I don't know how I'd edit it into 100x100.
