I Love rashaka (HBO, 2:30): rashaka (Kristin Scott Thomas) borrows wickedprincess3 (Max von Sydow)'s car to drive to the beach. On the other side of town, anniesj (Verne Troyer) invents a new kind of printer and gets meryl_stryfe (Brian Stokes Mitchell) to sell it. At the same time, _nepthys_ (Gary Coleman) buys leslina (Verne Troyer) a monkey. Afterwards, kimberly_a (Cary Elwes) unknowingly gets high before a meeting with isabellecs (Sheena Easton). Music, the bad, the good.

I don't understand the point behind the song "Miss Independant" by Kelly Clarkson.

So there's a girl who's "independant" and "self-sufficient", "unafraid", smart, and in control of her life. And she falls in love, and she loses all these things.

But she's better for it, because now she had love?

the hell?

Am I missing something in the lyrics? Way to halt that stereotype in its tracks, Kelly. Now go find a man, give him all your money, and never sing again unless he's instructing you directly on how to do it. ::pukes::

This song, on the other hand, cracks my shit up every time I hear it. At first it's sweet and innocuous... until you start to pay attention to the words. ;)
