Spike's on the Season 5 DVD cover. Not quite a sordid embrace, and the little sproglet is there, but its a step. Next season: SPUFFY!PORN COVER! It would sell like hotcakes. Assuming people still buy hotcakes. I admit, I don't think I've ever bought one. Come to think of it, I don't even know what a hotcake is. Is it like a pancake? Because those sell, but not individually, ya know. Cupcakes would be better. Plus they have frosting.
EDIT: How cool is this? The tv commercial for season 5 DVD box, they have Gift!BuffyBot saying, "Come and get it" ... and then cut to Crush!Spike going game-face. Sounded like an invitation to me too.
Ok, so I'm a little lame and obsessed.

Dec. 9th, 2003 11:46 pmI almost said "L-O-T-R" today. To my mother, in the grocery store, yelling across two cash register aisles. Caught myself at the last second and said "Lord of the Rings." Who was it that said it's actually possible to starting talking in LJ? You were so right.
During this same conversation the topic of hotness of Aragorn came up, which led to informing the lady who was rigning up our groceries that she had to watch PotC (connection= Legolas-->Orland-->Pirates) because she had bought it for her grandson but never seen it and it was just so funny, and since we were also on the subject of hotness of Aragorn, hotness of Johnny Depp came up too. The lady ringing us up thinks he's sexy, I think he's sexy, my mother doesn't find him attractive at all, to which the woman customer the next register over popped up in support of Hotness of Depp. Mom lost, 3:1. But she's an Orlando Bloom fan, so she's still cool.
I've invented a new word. I expect everyone should be using it soon: bittercute. It's like bittersweet, except it's not sweet, it's cute. And bitter. This word was invented because I was reading a Faye/Spike fanfic, and "bittercute" was the only thing I could come up with to describe how I felt about the last scene in the review.
Bittercute! Bittercute bittercute bittercute. Yeah, methinks it works.
