Either they are radiantly asexual, or they are all screwing each other madly, along with any dwarves, hobbits, and men who happen along. Whichever you prefer is usually based on how attractive you think Orlando Bloom is. -- An interesting article of elf sex in Tolkein's writings, with research references cited. I'll say it again: elf sex. Elf sex elf sex elf sex. Now I need to go watch RotK again. Hubba hubba.

I just watched a trailer on TV for Return of the King, and I swear the hairs on my arms rose. It was one of the ones that ended with a clip of ash-covered, wind-blown Sam screaming "FRODO!". I've seen the movie twice now, and I still get the same reaction as if I was waiting for opening night. I can't help it; I just instantly focus on anything LOTR that comes across me, and am instantly thrown back into love of the films and a great desire to be watching at that very moment.

I just heard that RotK broke all world records for opening weekend. I'm not in the least surprised, but it sure is nice to hear. Merry Christmas, Peter Jackson, cast, crew.

I need some icons now... Eowyn icons. Frodo icons. Legolas icons. Aragorn icons. Dramatic, thematic, heartbreaking icons..

I watched a cool ChrictonvsChricton vid to Tom McRae's A & B Song.

After getting a Tom McRae song or two along the way from [livejournal.com profile] saava, I'm beginning to think maybe I should try out buying one of his CDs.

Any suggestions anyone? I don't know anything about the artist or progression of his style or anything. Just tell me what his best CD is. Unless the best CD is the one that's all acoustic with talking-level vocals instead of singing, which is the problem I often have with Tori Amos. Though she has some songs I really like, she has many that bore me to death. I can't have just cool lyrics-- I need powerful instrumentals too for music that I fall in love with.
