Jan. 27th, 2004 05:27 pmI've been trying to look up the specifics of California's age fo consent laws for when both parties are under 18, but I'm finding it difficult.
So far I got this: PENAL CODE SECTION 261-269, where you can scroll down to section 261.5, where they define rape as with a minor of less than 18 and an adult of over 18. But I can't seem to find anything more specific about two minors.
While looking that up, however, I found this:
http://www.youthlaw.org/downloads/CA_MinorConsent_Sep03.pdf
It's an interesting chart that displays California's age of consent for various other topics including abortion, emergency contraception, medical services, mental health services, etc etc.
