timepiececlock: (taunt the fox demon)
There once was a woman from Tokyo

who drew cartoons all day don't'ya'know.

She made tons of money,

sold her story to tv,

...and now I'm forced to watch Miroku grope Sango.

Where have all the demons gone, long time passing?
Where have all the demons gone, long time ago?
Where have all the demone gone?
Kagome shot them, every one.
When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?

Where have all the vampires gone, long time passing?
Where have all the vampires gone, long time ago?
Where have all the vampires gone?
Staked by Buffy, every one.
When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?

((this is from a folk song "Where Have All The Flowers Gones?"))

"We must go out and ninja in the night."

This is my new favorite mantra. I'm going to be saying it randomly to people next to me in the grocery store line.
timepiececlock: (Spike drives mostly)
On a whim I pulled out my old tape and watched episode 17 of Trigun again. Ahhh... Knives was such an evil psychotic little monster.

spoilers for episode 17 and all inherent ret-cons )
timepiececlock: (fuck it or fight it Spuffy)
Hey... When Vash gets hit and does that dramatic fall, his blond hair flaps in the wind just like Julia's in Cowboy Bebop's Real Folk Blues II. Except he doesn't have any pigeons flying behind him dramatically.

semi-spoilery Trigun thoughts )
timepiececlock: (mostly likely kill you in the morning)
[livejournal.com profile] jaina made an entire icon song set for Cowboy Bebop to the Matchbox Twenty song "Bed of Lies" (after watching a vid to it), and I'm in love with them. The lyrics are just killer when put with these characters, and the pics she chooses fit wonderfully.
