Does anyone know where to find some Fraggle Rock icons?

That was by far my favorite children's tv show, and I think icons would be awesome. Just imagine it! Doozers! Grapes of Generosity! Geraldine the radish! Majorie the trash heap! The old guy's dog, Sprocket! The umbrella ceremony to make the water run! The pink blob episode!

In my new quest (it's been going' for about an hour now) to get Fraggle Rock icons, I came across this site: http://www.fragglerocker.com. I glanced through the character bios and found this rather amusing description of the Gorgs, my all-time favorite characters on the show:

"Gorgs, at 22 feet tall, are fifteen times the size of a Fraggle, and they live in the crumbling remains of a castle outside of Fraggle Rock. There are three remaining members of the species - Pa, Ma, and Junior. Pa and Ma are King and Queen of the Universe because they said they were and because there's no one around to disagree.

Junior's not interested in the Universe. He's only interested in Fraggles. Whenever Junior's not doing all the work his parents would do if they weren't to busy ruling the Universe, he tries to catch Fraggles.

Consequently, the Universe doesn't care about Gorgs at all, but the Fraggles do. It's very hard to pick giant vegetables while being chased by a moving mountain. Almost as hard as it is to be a moving mountain chasing very fast Fraggles."

Hm. Pa and Ma are King and Queen of the Universe because they said they were and because there's no one around to disagree. Indeed. If I were them, I'd say the same thing. Who would disagree? No one. Therefore they are.

At the moment, "enemy's gate is down", "ka-tet of 19", "piratesofthecuhribbeannotcaeribbean", "turtle of enormous girth", and "wolfwood/meryl" are the 5 things listed in my interests that aren't shared in anyone else's.

5. If there are, do you want these interests to be shared with others on LJ, or are you down with solidarity?

I would love it if people listed those as their interests too.

6. Have you ever convinced someone to add something to their interest list so that you wouldn't be alone in your fannishness? If so, what?

Yes. I convinced at least one, possibly two people to add "kabuto/kakashi" to their interest list when I first put it on mine. Since then 3 other people have added it t their own LJs separately.

7. Look at your list again. Are there any interests that you are surprised to see other people have listed as well?

Yep. Surprisingly, "blain is a pain" is listed by 5 other people besides me. Also, a hell of a lot of people are interested in ice cream, it seems.

8. Last question: pick one thing on your interests list you wish other people would add to theirs, one thing you want to share with everyone.

a.) Add "Jonathon/the first", Buffy fans. come on, You know you want to. Just think of Andrew saying it out loud in Buffy's kitchen in season 7.

b.) Or add "Kabuto/Kakashi". Doesn't matter if you even know what fandom the pairing is from; you just need to know it is the first slash (or yaoi) pairing I actually go out of my way to find (not easy either, btw). And you know me-- I'm a het & canon girl all day any day. So if I like a pairing that's both slash and as far from canon as carrots are from peanuts in the vegetable corner of the grocery store, you know it has to be a wicked pairing.

c.) jaina, rainjewel, support the OTF!
