Hey, flist... does anyone know a place where I can download the Ghost In the Shell: SAC soundtrack? Anything that's not peer to peer? Cause I've decided that even though I don't care one whit about the show, the music rocks. As Yoko Kanno always rocks.

Samurai Champloo 18

I think I've figured out the secret to enjoying Samurai Champloo.

I just stop expecting it to have a plot or a purpose or anything useful like that, and instead simply settle down and enjoy its enthusiasm. It may not be going anywhere fast or anywhere interesting, but it's easy on the eyes and sometimes makes me smile.



ETA: I don't mean it doesn't have a plot the way FLCL seems to not have a plot. FLCL has a plot, it's just very buried and very convoluted and very wound up in metaphor. In contrast, SC seems to be all "Well, we like the idea of a plot. In theory that sounds cool. But, meh, in practice it just seems too troublesome to bother even trying."
