Thank you everyone who wished me happy birthday! It was a good birthday.


The clubbing attempt was a bust ($20 cover charge, full of 18 year olds or 16 year olds with fake IDs, way too long a line to wait for) so we went to a pub. My intake:

1 junebug
1 rum shot
1 mai tai
3 tequila shots


Time started drinking: 12:45ish AM
Time stopped drinking: 1:30ish AM

The last two times I had that much alcohol it was vodka and/or smirnoff ice, and I was way drunk but otherwise fine. And I had it over like 2 and a half hours. Last night... not so much. I threw up like and hour and a half later. In the toilet, though! I got up from bed, went to the toilet, barfed, and parked myself for a while to just sit. My less-drunk friend (who had only a junebug and a mai tai) heard me and came to sit up and talk with me for like an hour in the bathroom.

I didn't get "falling-down" drunk, but I couldn't walk in a very straight line, either.

I woke up once at abut 9 o'clock, and again at 11 o'clock the next morning.

My brother got me the two DVDs of Fraggle Rock and the director's cut of Donnie Darko for my birthday.
