a peak into my brain regarding fandom and F_W.

While I love Fandom_Wank, I admit that wank about fandom_wank has about zero interest for me. I don't find it funny or interesting or worth gossipping about-- it's just an opportunity for self-congratulating and F_W-ers feeling the need to justify their existence in fandom yet again. Which I feel is silly-- there's no justification for fandom_wank. Fandom_Wank just exists. Stop trying to pretend it requires justification.

And it's not some noble cause worth defending. It's a bunch of people laughing at a variety of other people on the internet. You don't justify that, you only choose to participate or not participate. I choose to participate, because hey, fandom is funny and worth laughing at. But if people say "F_W is for idiots" and "serves no purpose" I will be the first to readily agree. F_W has no purpose. F_W needs no purpose.
