Renewed my journal for a whole year. Got extra icons for a whole year. Better now, while I have money and before reality of costs sets in.

Anyway, the upshot is that I once again get to use all 50 of my icons! I replaced about 15 of them, too, including this one. I loaded several that I'd made in the last month.

[livejournal.com profile] memlu has got a poll inquiring about one's favorite animated film, and the comments have devolved into our mutual squee and weepy tears over The Iron Giant. I mean, if you've seen it, you'd understand. Superman! ::goes for tissue box at just the thought::

hey there.

Alright flist.

Who's got an mp3 of the opening song to Azumanga Daio?

Because I would so be happy to have it.

On a different note, I've started the first bits of a Gungrave FST in my head. So far I've got Twenty Years by Placebo as my first song choice. Now only 16 or so more to go...

And on another topic, may I present to you:

Music Videos I Plan To Download

Yep. I have a massive list. All AMVs. And the more I download, the more I add to be downloaded in the future.

Also? My AMV folder in my computer is over 7 gigs.

There's something deeply wrong with me, I think.

Today's music pimpage... Two Mix!

Specifically, songs from the Gundam Wing soundtracks, because that's the only Two Mix stuff I have.

Two Mix

  • Last Impression - from the Endless Walts OVA. The prettiest song in the batch, I think, also incorporates parts of other songs.

  • White Reflection - Also from Endless Waltz. Pretty too, I think. Probably my favorite.

  • White Reflection Music Video - The band's official video for the song, not from GW. It is, however, animated. Pretty sweet animation too--- I highly reccomend watching it. It's about interpersonal bandmember politics, apples, and chasing glowy balls of light across the country side in the name of defeating writer's block. At the end I do believe they're standing on the rock from Close Encounters of The Third Kind.

  • Rythm Emotion - 2nd opening theme, probably my favorite after White Reflection, GW, techno-y dance-y

  • Just Communication - 1st opening theme, GW, techno-y dance-y

  • Just Communication, English remix - It's neat to find out what the words mean, but I prefer the Japanese vocals.

  • Just Communication, instrumental remix - very pretty long version, no lyrics

Just watched a pretty well done HP video from [livejournal.com profile] vidding done to the Police song "Don't Stand So Close To Me", with the pairing being RemusLupin/Harry.

I'm having a surprisingly numbered range of reactions to this video. They include:

- Ooh, nice timing with the thing and the other thing

- OMG MUST SCRUB EYEBALLS

- Heh. You know, with Harry constantly being referred to as "she" this is kind of funny

- "You know how bad girls get." BAWAAHA Draco!

- "At the busstop, she's waiting, his car is warm and dry." -- OKAY NO, BAD MENTAL IMAGERY, BAD MENTAL IMAGERY!

- I never realized Harry looked so girly in cold weather

- Oh that's just wrong. I'm never going to be able to watch the third movie again.

- Snape in a staff room. Heh.

- Okay just stop right there mister, do you know the meaning of the word "thirteen" He's THIRTEEN!

- No matter how much I admire the quality of vidding here, I need a brillo pad. For my brain.

- Does the SVU cast know about the wizarding world? Better call them up.
