I seriously need a LoM icon...

ShakaDad: Cops in America don't cry.

Rashaka: *represses urge to say "He's kinda badass and beats people up later," or paraphrase a random LJer "Sam Tyler: he cries, he talks to his tv, we love him dearly." *
Yeah, I'm subjecting my parents to this show too. After that it will be my brother. Good news-- both my parents sat down and watched the entire episode, even though they said it was "a bit slow." For my dad, getting him to sit down and watch 60 minutes of solid tv without a computer to type on or something to multitask with is a rare thing.
*Also, you should know that my dad has no problem with cops crying, in real life or tv. He was actually making a mildly sarcastic comment on American tv stereotypes.
