I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad

On the drive home tonight the Gorillaz song "Clint Eastwood" was the first track to start in my CD player and, partially due to the fact that I'd just been discussing Naruto fic with akavertigo, it struck me that this song would make a weirdly perfect Hatake Kakashi fanvid. I've never once mentally tied this song to a fandom character-- probably because the principle "speaker" is made up of so many disparate and conflicting qualities. But hey, so is Kakashi's characterization. He matches the song pretty well: cynical, lazy beat, badass talk, bizarre cheerfulness, oddball, ironic mentor, strange lif philosophy.

A fanvid would be so cool. It'd be half-serious, and half total parody. That's pretty much Kakashi's characterization anyway... he's either scary and killing people or he's comic relief as the lazy eternal bachelor porn addict.
