The Avatar Book Club turned out to be even less fun than the arts & crafts contest.
Sokka: "Piggy had it coming!"
Zuko: "It doesn't matter what Mustache-Boy says, Ethan Frome is a wretched book. Ironic my ass."
Teo: "Doctor Frankenstein's work was a testament to humanity's genius!"
Katara: "I'm just saying. He locked up his insane wife in the attic, he must be a firebender."
Toph: "What? The prince didn't tame the fox because he was hungry!"
Haru: "Katara, I promise that when I said Pride & Prejudice reminded me of you, I wasn't suggesting you have a superiority complex, okay?"
Aang: "I...I just don't understand. The pigs are so mean to the other animals. This is a mean book!"
You guys got any?

Yet another ATLA post... with a song!

On Your Porch by The Format is my Zuko/Iroh song. Particularly the second half of season 2 and first half of season 3...their frustrating relationship in season 2 that leads to Zuko's decisions and revisions in season 3.
The song is about the singer's dad passing away, which hasn't happened to Iroh of course, but Iroh has been through a lot, and the father/son relationship Zuko develops with his uncle during his banishment is of such stark contrast to Zuko's relationship with his real father, though both have trust issues. I think the song works very well for pinpointing Zuko's confusion, frustration, and depression, and how the stuff he's going through affects his relationship with Iroh. Particularly looking back from mid-season 3 perspective.
I would say this would make a pretty music video, but you'd probably have to trim it because the song is 5 minutes long, and most vids lose viewer interest after 3 and a half minutes.

He grabs me by the shoulder and he tells me,
"What's left to lose? You've done enough,
And if you fail then you fail but not to us,
'Cause these last three years,
I know they have been hard,
But now it's time to get out of the desert and into the sun,
Even if it's alone."
