a. So today I'm going to buy one of those fancy curved keyboards to make my wrists feel better.

b. Chain by irfikos is updated to chapter 3.4. Have I mentioned how traumatic this fic is? And it's not even to the worst yet, I can tell. Reading this fic is like watching the movie A Simple Plan; it starts out small, and then gets worse and worse... until everything is beginning to snowball and you just KNOW that when it ends it's going hurt like a severed limb. I started out hoping that this would have a happy-ish ending. I really hoped. I've now relinquished that dream to the cold reality. But I can't stop reading it, can't look away, because it's too absorbing and my macabre curiosity wants to see just how bad things will get. I love it. I hate it. I hope it gets updated again as soon as possible.

c. laundry

Oh dearie. This is one of those fics I've been eying but haven't read yet. Do you think I'll want to throw myself off a bridge afterwards if I start it?

Dude.

I just read that fic and have emotional scars now. Reminds me of "Leashing the Beast" by Nos, except much, much darker and graphic. Still, addictive.

It's worth it. But it's also kind of hard to read. A lot of my anxiety is that I don't know how it's going to end. I really don't. I just have this encroaching feeling that it's going to be bad. Or maybe it won't, and it's just good story-telling that has me utterly convinced otherwise. But the Spike-voice is one of the most believable I've seen in fanfic, and this is the best version of this storyline that I've come across. The Nerds are spot-on, and the Scoobies and Buffy (who show up later) are like they'd been pulled from the show. I can easily imagine this as an alternate reality.

I would reccomend you read it though. The writer does update fairly often.

yeah, I've been told I won't like it at first. But my mom has on and she likes it better now that she's used to it.
