timepiececlockSo. I found a Captain Jack / Original Character het fic. And I'm Shocked and Awed, because I'm falling in love with it.
As you all know by now, a 3-dimenionsal and useful Original Character is a jewel to find in fanfiction. It's hard enough finding one that doesn't automatically annoy you, much less one you like AND like seeing with your favorite character.
where-is-truth wrote a post-chosen Buffy fanfic that I liked a lot, called 'Here & Now.' Started this PotC fic a while ago, and I ignored it until today. Now I'm loving it, and awaiting the next part. Not only is her OC enjoyable, but her Jack is perfect and her dialogue is entertaining. I couldn't for the life of me tell you if it's a realistic dialogue style, but it certainly sounds good and meshes well with my memory of the movie's script style.
