All the mistakes that would get made in the FirstWorld War would be made in the US Cvil war too, up to and inculding charging calavry at Machine guns and trench warfare. Besides the greates miltary and political minds of all US history are found it that period!

I'm a little fearful of the workload I'm assigning myself here, but I think I can handle it.
