my equisite corpse poem

as in sleeping-drink spices
i sing of Olaf glad and big
love like shrapnel drenched in heart's blood
when sun is gone and moon is dead
With the yellow and the purple and the crimson keeping time
Sometimes I swear to god I was not meant to be a mother.

friends' friends:

They took some honey, and plenty of money Wrapped up in a five pound note.
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
He is all pine and I am apple orchard.
in your most frail gesture are things which enclose me,
I have lost a telephone With your smell in it
Trees leaning into the wind, holding back the tide
there are questions you need not answer
Since there's no help, come, let us kiss and part.
let the wenches dawdle in such dress
when sun is gone and moon is dead *
And play the mother's part, kiss me, be kind.
I have done one braver thing than all the Worthies did
If my eyes are actually more closed than open, why am I still here

*My line was from LotR: The Two Towers, and Gollum.
