the truth is out there
Oct. 8th, 2003 06:52 pmI was reading an HP fic, and something that had been bugging me subconsciously for a long time finally took shape and form.
In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Dumbledore says that death is simply "the next great adventure."
haha, JKR. Did you think you could fool everyone for long?
Think not. I have seen the Disney film Hook, and you just totally plaigarized that line.

Date: 2003-10-09 08:59 am (UTC)It's strange, my relationship with HP. I didn't start more than a mild "read it to see what happens" interest until this last book. And most of the time I like the fanfic more than the actual books (probably because JKR still isn't the greatest writer out there, and some fanfiction is just better.) But it's crept up on me. Like pretty-colored mold. It's a fandom where half the time I don't even like the canon material, but I seem to keep participating in it anyway. It's hard to explain.
