timepiececlockWas reading an early chapter of an intriguing, well-written InuYasha / Sailor Moon crossover (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=644412/), and I happened upon the line “There’s a spike.” I of course did a double-take and had to reread to check. Turns out they just meant the literal, sharp&point-thing meaning of the word. Not, sadly, a sexy/soul-crazy vampire.
::long sigh:: I'm so deep into Buffy fandom its sad. And it's totally cramping my anime!fic, whenever I actually get to reading that, these days.
