timepiececlockHm... now here's a fan word I don't think enough Spike/BtVS fans are aware of: glomp.
glomp: verb; to glomp a person, esp. a person of the opposite sex-- to throw oneself without warning onto the desired person, giving them a huge hug/kiss-face/or-affectionate choke-hold, while simultanesously seriously copping a feel. A term most often used by anime fans, especially fangirls. Can also mean a sudden bear-hug (between friends), or a Rodger Rabbit-esque kiss on the mouth.
In other words, it's the practice of sudden, random, attack-hugging.
For example, if I saw James Marsters walking down the street, I'd have to exert great self-control not to glomp him in an attempt to feel his ab muscles and see if he smells as good as he looks.
