Cut out of Adaptation a half hour in. Can't help it-- I don't like anyone in this movie. I don't particularly dislike them (they're all frightfully normal and people-like, and I generally don't dislike people), but neither do they engender any kind of positive or at least evocative reaction in me. And if I got 35 minutes into a film and still haven't found anyone to like, be fascinated by, be offended by, or relate to, then I have to call it quits. Unless I pay nine point five bucks, in which case I force myself to sit through the ensuing boredom on principle, much like the only Tenshi Muyo episode I ever watched.
