Do I have standards for good icons?
Yeah. I think so. Well, I have.... one.

RASHAKA'S EXTREMELY IMPORTANT VITAL BOTTOM LINE LIST OF GOOD ICON STANDARDS
1. If you use text, make sure it's bright enough, clear enough, and animated slowly enough for me to read it. People who do dark red on black are sadists and I am secretly planning your death.

Because honestly; everything else is taste, taste, taste. Beyond that one standard, I really have no opinion about the matter at all. But I celebrate people who have many standards. Go you. You are much cooler than me. So go, go make me beautiful icons! :)
