B-day apology.

I would like to say that I'm terrible at wishing people on LJ happy birthdays.
I apologize for this. I know a lot of you have birthdays (actually probably all of you), and if I was a better person who wasn't quite so unbearably lazy, I would pay attention to this sort of thing and wish you well on your day. Especially since some of you have wished me happy birthdays and that always gives me happy feelings. So I have a certain amount of guilt over the issue. Birthday guilt. That's not the same thing as cake guilt, and much less fun.
Is it cheesy and cheap to say that I genuinely wish you well on all your days, and I think all people should be happy on their birthdays? Because I do. I know it sounds over-generalized and impersonal and lazy-lame, but I would like to just say happy birthday everyone, and let you know that I do wish you happiness in future birthdays and hope your past birthdays were fun, even if I never say so on LJ or even know what particular day it occured, but I'm sure it has occured at least once in the last year and I'm sure it will occur at least once again this year and next, and I do wish you well for that. And other days too.
I hope everyone gets cake at least once a year, and has someone to spend their birthday with, and has happy naked Spike thoughts on those days too. Or if you're
mrthursday or
spikespeigel, naked Buffy thoughts. Or naked Spike thoughts, if it turns out you like those too. That's perfectly fine.
So, happy birthday today and every day. And I wish I was better at doing this properly and personally.
