heck yeah! I am very much pimping this song as Spike/Faye. I really think it suits them over the course of the series, and if you think about the last episodes, it's ironic as hell too.

Have you heard it before? Because if you haven't, I was thinking about putting up some new MP3s tonight. Really, listening to it, it's so perfect.

Especially the end, where the promises of "I promise not to try not to leave" begins to overlap with "I won't leave," the opposite promise. And of course, "I promise not to lie when I'm looking you straight in the eye" makes me think of so many S/F scenes, like in Pierrot le Fou in the corridoor, and in RFB-II of course.

Ah.... valereix's videos! Some of my all-time favorites. Have you seen her Spike vid to "Call Me Al" ? My favorite Spike vid of all fandom.

Yep, I loved it as a Spike/Buffy song too. It works for them, in a different way. It works for season 6. But the song has since been taken over in my brain as Spike/Faye. I think it suits them even better than S/B, since S/B have changed so much over the course of the relationship.
