I got Atlas Shrugged when I traded in my old books yesterday, because someone who's opinion on these things is of interest to me said it was their favorite book ever, and I've read one chapter so far. I like it. I like the style. I'm intrigued. I was afraid it was gonna be over-long and boring, but so far its not boring at all. I'll be definitely reading it more intensely in the next weeks.

Date: 2002-11-12 10:45 am (UTC)Oh, God. This is my favorite book EVER. I think I've read it seven times. It's gorgeous, just absolutely stunning. Changed my life. Dagny is one of my all-time favorite novel heroines -- you'll love her. She's brilliant.
