I put up a new icon. Now you all can know what I look like. And then hide your eyes.

Le Sigh...I was bored and I love the color green.

Why is it that I can't get any cool lighting like movie stars? It's so hard to edit real life pictures where everything is the same shade and there are no stark contrasts or anything snazzy that movie-people and photographers do.

Interestingly, what this icon doesn't show (what none of the pics showed when I shrunk them), is that I have hella freckles. I'm freckle girl. But they got blended right out when I shrunk it then lightened it. So just imagine this icon here, but with light brown reddish hair instead of green, and with lots and LOTS of freckles.

uh... I'd like to think so too. But sadly no. Too bad, that would be cool.

What would I have been referencing?

Girls with glasses so kick ass :)

You're so pretty! And now I can see what your hair looks like. It's very nice, and a similar shade to mine. Except yours is curly and mine is just frizzy.

We do! I wanted to include text and that was all I could think of.

Except yours is curly and mine is just frizzy.

I made a discovery last year: mine is frizzy if I comb it. Ergo, I don't. So I step out of the shower and I don't touch it for two hours. I towel dry it a bit and then simply let it hang. then after it's dry I throw some water on it to weight down the floating strands and get them to stick to the curls, and by then I say "fuck it" and stop caring. So I have figured out how to get the messy curly look. However, this only worked once my hair got to be below my shoulders. It needed the weight to keep the curls together and not frizzing everywhere.

I wish I could make it look like Buffy's hair in your icon. I liked that hair for her. But sadly I do not have a team of hairstylists around me. Nor do most people. ::pout::

You're so pretty!

Aw, thank you. It took me 7 pictures to get 2 that I liked. I'm going to post more pics of me (with natural coloring) when I post before/after pics when I get my hair cut. If there's crying cause I hate it, you will know why.

"Men seldom make passes,
at girls who wear glasses."

Still that was the Jazz age not the...what age are we?

I'd like to be able to not comb mine, because I know it makes it more frizzy, but if I didn't, it'd be one big knot. Literally. My hair is just impossible.

I'm so looking forward to your before/after pictures. I think your hair will look nice short because it's curly. It'll probably curl all around your face softly. I hope you don't hate it, but I don't think you will :)

what age are we?

We're the information age, I've heard tell. But I always thought it was tacky to think up titles like that when you're living it. It should be named after the fact.

Still, glasses back then were probably clunky and thick. Now we have plastic! And super thin glass lenses. And my particular glasses don't have bottom frames, something I love them for.

I wish somebody would go tell the boys of the world that. ::makes funky face:: I end up having to do all the chasing most of the time... I think I'm intimidating or something.

Very cute icon (and yes, girls with glasses DO kick ass!)

And you are very adorable! Strange about the freckles, though.
