But the Husband and I were watching the new LoTR DVD that has the extra 30+ minutes and trying to figure out how we would recast it (not that we'd really want to, it's so well casted) and I immediatly thought of the Marcus actor (Jason... I can't remember his last name). He'd pull off the whole dangerous but good guy thing really well.
See, my family does this thing where we try to think who we'd cast in movies of our favorite books. Since we saw Marcus we all immediately thought he'd be a good choice (he carries the long brown hair pretty nicely). As an aside-- we also think Jim Carey would be a wonderful Arthur Dent (The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy), and that it sucks that Clint Eastwood is so old because would have been the only logical choice for Roland of Gilead (The Gunslinger, the Dark Tower books).
Heh. I see Spike everywhere. Therapy, here I come. :P
You're hardly the first--- see the girl in the shrink's waiting room with the freckles and too-long hair? That's me, fellow Spike fangirl.
