timepiececlockYou know, I just remembered something I'd forgotten over 40+ episodes...
Roy Mustang knew their father. That's how he found them as kids, because in like episode 2 or 3 they wrote to all the people their father knew.
How could I have forgotten that? That's one massive plot thread left hanging. And this show does do hanging plot threads. Everything matters. Everything has a place in the big picture. But I'd gotten so distracted by 40+ episodes where it never came up that it slipped my mind.
Now it's going to plague me. Damn.
