Sep. 17th, 2004 12:09 amMy dad has tentatively agreed to record the English dub of FullMetal Alchemist for me when it starts airing in November on the Cartoon Network, since I won't get cable in my dorm.
When I think of where the show is right now, at episode 48, I get shivers.
When I think of what it's going to be like to watch it all again from the beginning in English, and observe the reactions of new fans as they fall in love with it...I'm practically getting goosebumps from excitement.
That is one good thing about watching stuff in subs first, I think. You get to relive the excitement of the entire first experience again when it comes out on tv in English. It's not quite the same if you watch it in English first and then the dub. Although there are some series, like IY, where if you don't watch the dub from the very first, you'll probably never bond with it.
GAH! So exciting.
And by the way, did I mention I'm moving in 3 days?
::screams:: ::faints::
It's too much! I can't take it!
