And this is a new printer cartridge too. I don't really understand why its not working.
Well, might be partly because the colors you see on the screen really have very little relation to the colors that will come out of your printer. Or, it could be that you need to re-calibrate the inks in your printer. Try that, first. Failing that, print it in black/white.
