How cool is my Intro to Law class?

Get this. For the final we knew we would have to analyze a fictional case wherein the plaintiff demands some kind of action or benefit under the Americans with Disabilities Act. We knew it would be a case where the plaintiff would be some kind of athlete with a disability who could not participate in a tournament unless some minor exception rule was made. The precendent we studied was PGA Tour v. Martin-- about a professional golfer (Martin) who wanted to use a golf cart instead of walking during the PGA tour, a case that went to the U. S. Supreme Court.

And what was the game our professor chose for us to analyze as a case under the ADA?

QUIDDICH.

That's right. Quiddich. We had a two-page prompt (with pictures) describing the game, the rules, the history, and the details of the case in particular we were going to analyze.

How cool is that? ::basks:: I knew there was a reason I loved this Professor. I mean, this is the same woman who had us watch a clip of an old old Star Trek episode (amongst other film clips) during our section on racism and the Equal Protection Clause. Cool cool cool.

I think I did pretty good on the final too. I didn't finish the very end of the last question, but I came very close.
